Saints not disgraced

DESPITE going down by 39 points, Millicent was far from disgraced when it faced off against West Gambier at Malseed Park in Round 16 of Western Border football on Saturday.

RUNNING CLEAR: Millicent’s Tom Hutchesson looks up the ground for options.

Still looking for their first win of the season, the young Saints can take many positives from the game as they took it up to their more fancied opponents to finish the match full of running to record their highest match tally for the year.

Roos coach David Stratman would have been confident of a big win as they entered the match after three easy victories against the Saints earlier in the year, winning by 100 points in Round 2, 30 in Round 7 at McLaughlin Park and 104 in Round 12.
