Huge day for Robe

SATURDAY is the biggest day for the Robe sporting community since the 2006 grand final when Tantanoola defeated Hatherleigh for the Wilf Sprengel Shield in A Grade football, while Kalangadoo netballers triumphed over Port MacDonnell.

Mount Burr is the favourite in the football in 2015 while Kalangadoo is odds on for yet another netball title.

Robe Football Club vice president Mr Roger Sweetman said he was grateful for the support of around 100 members of the local sporting community who will be filling the catering and other rosters on Saturday.
