AN after-the-siren score by Tantanoola teenage footballer Toby Pink gave the Glenelg Tigers a thrilling one-point win in the SANFL Under 18 grand final against North Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
With scores tied in the season decider, Pink took a strong overhead mark at centre half forward.
The final siren sounded just as the ball came into his possession.
Pink needed to score from a range of 60m in order to avoid extra time being played.
Kicking into the wind, Pink sent the ball to the point of the goal square.
It somehow found a way to elude the Rooster defenders and roll across the line for the winning behind.
Glenelg scored 6.20 (56) to defeat North Adelaide 8.7 (55) to win by one point.
Pink has attracted the attention of AFL scouts and is set to attend the annual Draft Camp.
He has spent the 2016 season in Adelaide but did come home for one mid-season A Grade game with the Tantanoola Tigers.
